NPF Recognizes Hispanic Heritage Month

The New Portland Foundation welcomes the declaration of Hispanic Heritage Month by Oregon Governor Kate Brown and reiterates our support for the Latino community. We affirm our support for her call to “pay tribute to the contributions Latinos have made and continue to make in our state” and recognize that “the Latino community is an important part of Oregon’s past and present, and – as the data shows – will be an even bigger part of Oregon’s future“.
